TEL AVIV – These are definitely not the best of time for Israel following further escalation of violence in the Middle East.

The war has now gone beyond Israel fighting with Palestine and Lebanon. A third force,Iran has stepped into the fray with so much devastation for Israel as it unleashed a barrage of supersonic missiles on God’s own country.

The Israeli intelligence and spy agency, Mossad in Tel Aviv was levelled to the floor. One of Israel’s main airbase, the Nevatim Airbase in Negev  according to sources was completely destroyed with at least 25 fifth generation F-35 fighter jets put out of use.

The Iranians did not spare Israel’s gas platform in the Mediterranean Sea when it unleashed the Fattah-1/ Fattah – 2 hypersonic missiles on the state of Israel. It was a day of reckoning and an unparalleled devastation in the history of Israel.

Speaking on the attacks, Iranian Defense Minister said Iran did not use most advanced missiles in the attacks.

“We did not use our most advanced missile capabilities with the greatest destructive power, and if the region is exposed to escalation, we will deal with it more severely in the coming waves”, he said and warned allies of Israel to steer clear and not intervene.

” If countries supporting the Zionist entity intervene, we will target their interests and headquarters in the region with force” an Iranian general said.

The Chief of Staff of the  Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammed Bagheri, explained: “If the zionist regime is not restrained and acts against Iran, we will target all its infrastructure.”

“Since the assassination of martyr Haniyeh, we have endured a difficult period of restraint at the repeated request of the Americans and Europeans, asking us to exercise restraint so they could establish a ceasefire in Gaza.

“However, after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and General Nilforoushan, the situation became unbearable.”

Commenting on the situation, Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, at the conclusion of a situational assessment of the attacks in Israel said:

“We have proven our ability to prevent the enemy from achieving success, through the combination of exemplary civilian conduct and a very strong Aerial Defense Array.

“We will choose when to exact the price and demonstrate our precise and surprising offensive capabilities, in accordance with the directive of the political echelon” he said.

On the level of devastation, the Spokesman of the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said.

“Iran’s attack is a severe and dangerous escalation. There will be consequences.”

“Iran launched a large-scale attack of over 180 ballistic missiles directly from Iranian soil at the State of Israel.

“There were a small number of hits in the center of Israel, and other hits in Southern Israel. The majority of the incoming missiles were intercepted by Israel and a defensive coalition led by the United States.

“Iran’s attack is a severe and dangerous escalation. There will be consequences.

“Our defensive and offensive capabilities are at the highest levels of readiness. Our operational plans are ready. We will respond wherever, whenever, and however we choose, in accordance with the directive of the government of Israel.

“Iran and its proxies have been attacking Israel since the 7th of October on 7 fronts. Iran and its proxies seek the destruction of Israel.

“The Israel Defense Forces will continue doing everything  necessary to defend the State of Israel and protect the people of Israel”, he said.

Reacting to the attacks, GOP Speaker, Mike Johnson said Iran is again brazenly attacking Israel with a barrage of rocket fire and an apparent coordinated terrorist attack.

“The world is watching as Israeli families seek safety and shelter as waves of missile attacks light up the sky.

“We pray for their safety and urge the Biden-Harris Administration to deliver a strong message to the Iranian regime that this unjustified violence and terror must end. The strategy of appeasement has failed, and a policy of interdiction is not enough.

“American leadership has never been more important, and the world should know that the United States will continue to stand firmly with Israel as it fights for its very survival.

“Our adversaries are carrying out increasingly dangerous attacks because of Biden and Harris’ weak and failed foreign policy. The world needs America to return to a maximum pressure campaign against Iran, and President Biden needs to make clear that there will be decisive economic and potential military ramifications for these actions”, he said.
