TEHRAN, Iran – There were indications early Saturday morning that Israel has carried out the first phase of the much anticipated retaliatory attacks on Tehran, following three explosions in the Iranian capital.

The targets according to reports were multiple surface-to-air missile (SAM) sites of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC and the Iranian Air Defence Force, which includes the SAM systems’ site in Shahriar, south of Tehran.

We gathered that the air defence systems of Iran also confronted some hostile objects South- West of Tehran. As the attacks hit the Iranian soil, Ronen Bergman, Mossad’s man announced that the Israeli attack on Iran started.

It is not clear if there are casualties but the skies of Tehran were seriously lite with fires from the explosion.

 IDF has owned up to the attacks

Addtressing the development, IDF Spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that the attacks are in response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel.

“Right now the Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran. The regime in Iran and its proxies in the region have been relentlessly attacking Israel since October 7th – on seven fronts – including direct attacks from Iranian soil.

“Like every other sovereign country in the world,(agree that) the State of Israel has the right and the duty to respond. Our defensive and offensive capabilities are fully mobilized.

“We will do whatever necessary to defend the State of Israel and the people of Israel”, he said.
