THAILAND – A Thai woman has been able to put a fight against a giant python who attempted to strangle to and swallow her for hours before the arrival of rescue team.
The Samut Prakan woman fought with the 4-meter-long python that had that has completely encircled her body for nearly two hours.
Her faint cries for help were heard by a neighbour, who called rescuers late Tuesday night.
The rescue team broke into her apartment and subsequently freed the exhausted woman. At the time of her rescue, the snake had inflicted several bite wounds on her She was given first aid and taken to the hospital for treatment.
She told her rescuers that earlier in the day, while squatting and doing the dishes, she felt a sharp pain on her right thigh, looked down, and saw the huge snake attacking her.
The brave woman grabbed the python by the head and tried to pull it off her body for hours.
