BOSTON – Matt Nelson, the man who self immolated outside Israel’s consulate in Boston, United States has passed.
Matt Nelson, who was pained by the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza following the genocidal war in Gaza decided to self immolate to draw attention of the world to what is happening and the refusal of the United States and its allies to call Israel to Order.
The United States, the major ally of Israel had blocked all resolutions in the United Nations Security Council, UNSC to put a halt to the ongoing annihilation of the Palestinians.
The US has continued to arm Israel to the detriment of the population. Not even the protest in Washington, Israel and across the globe has forced the President Joe Biden and his administration to change mind.
Matt Nelson was rushed to the hospital after setting himself alight but he could not make it.
He died from injuries while his family decided to donate his organs to those who would need it.
In his last video, he stated, “My name is Matt Nelson, and I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest. We are all culpable in the ongoing genocide in Gaza…”

Since October 7th, 2023 when Israel embarked on the war in Gaza, the death toll now stands at 42,287 half of them children.
Ten thousand students have been killed with all the Universities have been destroyed.
No child currently goes to school in Gaza, many have died from starvation and malnutrition.
There’s no water to drink with all the sewage system and infrastructure destroyed. There is prospect of epidemics in Gaza yet Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu is determined to carry on with the war.
Most of the buildings have been reduced to rubble, with most of the population now living in tents constantly subjected to bombing by the Israeli Occupation Forces.
