Israel kills 274 people in attacks on 3,100 houses in Lebanon

LEBANON – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has intensified it attacks in Southern Lebanon  in the fight to push back the Lebanese Resistant Forces, Hezbollah, and in the process killed 274 people in air strikes in the last 24 hours.

A total of 3,100 houses came under attacks by the IDF, leading to destruction of lives and properties.

The Lebanese Ministry of health gave a breakdown of those killed in the airstrikes as  274 martyrs, including 21 children and 39 women.

Among  them are two medics in the airstrikes that targeted hospitals, medical centers and ambulances

There are reports that the absolute majority targets are civilian houses and assets Brayka village and other Lebanese villages like Kartaba in Chouf district, Bint Jbeil, Aita al-Shaab, Yayak Valley, the city of Tyre,  Beqaa, Nabi Cheet and many other villages.

In one of the villages attacked, the martyrs in the attack have been identified as women and children from Haribi family, nine all together.They include  Safiya Wajih Murad, wife of Hajj Abbas Haribi,  Mohammed Abbas Haribi,  Fatima Abbas Haribi,  Zainab Abbas Haribi, the child Muhammad Najdi, son of Zainab,   Nour Abbas Haribi, Hassan Najdi, Nour’s husband, the child Ali Hassan Najdi and another child Fatima Hassan Najdi

But in a statement, IDF Chief of General Staff,  LTG  Herzi  Halevi said targets are Hezbollah infrastructures.

“We are striking combat infrastructure that Hezbollah has been building for the past 20 years”, he said
