BEIRUT – Not less than 136 residents have been killed and dozens injured by the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF in air strikes in about 120 locations across Lebanon in the last 24 hours.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said most of those killed are women and children including medics and people in civil defence.
Among the 136 people killed in Lebanon is a family of eight taking refuge in Aitaroun, a border village between Lebanon and Israel. Attacks were also reported in Deir al-Zahrani, kafr Tebnit and Kafr Hamam. There was also shelling in Kfar Shouba.
For instance in Aita Al-Shaab, there were three martyrs, in Al-Sawabeh two residents were killed. One resident was wounded in Bani Hayyan, two wounded in Tebnine and another two in Shaqra, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said.
In one village alone, that is Kafra, the IDF said it carried out 45 airstrikes cutting off power supply, leaving the village with so much devastation.
In Zabd vilage, 17 Lebanese from the A-Qadi family were wiped out when Israeli bombs rained in the neighbourhood.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Resistant Movement, Hezbollah has also fired over 25 rockets into Occupied Northern Israel with many making impacts on targets even as many begin preparation to bury families killed by Israel in the airstrikes.
