GAZA , Palestine – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has targeted and killed Aljazeera journalist, Ismail Al Ghoul and his cameraman, Rani Al Refee.
They were together in the vehicle conveying them to their home in Central Gaza when they were targeted and the vehicle completely destroyed.
His death now brings the total number of Palestinian journalists killed by Israel in Gaza to 165.
Israel does not allow any foreign journalists into the Gaza Strip. The only journalists reporting this genocidal war are the Palestinians, yet Israel continue to target them to put fear in them and prevent them from reporting the heinous crimes they are committing in the guise of waging war in Gaza.
Recall the Israel has already banned Aljazeera from Israel and has continued to target their journalists in Gaza.
Aljazeera journalist, Osama Hind Al -Khoudary, who was practically weeping reporting the death of her colleague described Ismail as a very diligent journalist who was previously arrested and detained for 24 hours and tortured by Israel before he managed to escape from their captivity.
She said this death brings the number of Palestinian journalists killed by Israel to 165.
She said Ismail continued to do his job despite threats to his life.
She said journalists are displaced and under constant target by Israel.
She has been separated from her family in the last 10 months.
