“I announce my resignation from the emergency government. I call on Netanyahu to hold elections as soon as possible and form a national investigation committee”, he said.
Benny Grant accused Netanyahu of obstructing important strategic decisions due to his political considerations.
“We withdraw from this government because Netanyahu is preventing us from progressing toward achieving true victory. Netanyahu prevents us from achieving a real victory, so we decided to leave the emergency government”, he said.
He called on party leaders to stand by his side in calling on Netanyahu to hold elections to form a national zionist national unity government.
“I call on party leaders to stand by my side in order to hold elections to form a national Zionist national unity government
“I tell the families of the captured soldiers that we failed the exam and were unable to return their children
“We did a lot, but we failed to return them to their homes. I stand behind the broad lines approved by the war government, and I ask Netanyahu to have the courage to move forward with them”, Benny Grant said.
