IBADAN, Nigeria – The Oyo State Police Command in association with other security agencies has arrested at least 20 members of the Yoruba Nation Soldiers who earlier today launched a military attack on Oyo State Government Secretariat in attempt to take over the complex.
We learnt that the suspected Oodua Nation agitators in Army uniform(branded Yoruba Nation Soldiers) stormed the government secretariat in numbers to hijack the Oyo state House of Assembly.
The agitators were said to have already taken over the assembly complex premises, and hosted their flag before in arrival of backup security personnel who confronted them in a gun battle before they were overpowered and arrested.
