GAZA – The armed wing of the Palestinian movement, Hamas has warned Israel that resulting to killing innocent women and children in Gaza under guise of putting pressure on Hamas to release the 131 captives will not work.

In a statement, Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas said the acts of genocide against Palestine has engendered global isolation of Israel and that the captives will only be released through a dignified deal for Palestine and not through blackmail.

“The massacres and crimes of the occupation in Gaza reflect its strategic failure as it has not achieved its goals”, Hamas said adding that “israeli” occupation has neither eliminated Hamas, nor will it be able to do so, and has not recovered the captives, and it will not do so except through a dignified deal.

“I say to the entire [Arab and Islamic] nation that the ongoing genocide requires a different stance than the past six months.

“Israel”, the West’s spoiled child, is no longer what it was, and its image has been shattered.

“What is happening in diplomatic corridors indicates an unprecedented isolation of “israel”, Hamas said, quoting the occupation’s media as saying that killing children and grandchildren is to pressure Hamas to change its stance in negotiations, but that this will not happen in the circumstance.

“We confirm our commitment to the necessity of declaring a permanent and clear ceasefire in Gaza.

“We confirm our commitment to the condition of complete withdrawal and the return of the displaced to Gaza without any restrictions or barriers.

“We reaffirm our commitment to all our conditions and to issues of relief and reconstruction, and then reaching the prisoners’ deal.

“Without achieving our conditions, Hamas will not go to any deal”, the group said.
