ACCRA, Ghana – MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, a leading transport and logistics company, is proud to announce the opening of its newly upgraded office in Ghana. The inauguration event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Ghana’s Deputy of Minister of Transport, Honourable. Alhassan S. Tampuli. The ministry’s participation underscores the critical role of MSC’s expansion in supporting Ghana’s economic growth. 

Cedric Goujon, Managing Director of MSC Ghana, reflected on the company’s growth and its commitment to the region. “Since our first MSC vessel called at the port of Tema in 2007 we have seen tremendous growth, leading to the expansion of our office space and the increase in our team size to meet the growing demands,” He further highlighted, “Today, we employ 131 staff and operate seven weekly services, handling an impressive annual volume of 190,000 TEUs. Our new office is not just an expansion—it’s a commitment to Ghana and its future.” 

 The office is strategically located to optimize the logistical demands and improve the efficiency of trade routes locally and internationally. This expansion will enhance MSC’s ability to support Ghanaian businesses in tapping into international markets, promoting economic development and trade diversity.
