Civil Defence team unearth evidence of war crimes in mass graves at Khan Younis, Nasser Medical Complex

RAFAH – The Civil Defence in Khan Younis has unearthed evidence of summary executions at the Nasser medical complex in Khan Younis, unearthing 392 decomposing bodies

Speaking at a press conference in Rafah, the Civil Defence said it received over 100000 distress calls during the invasion of the complex but were unable to respond as a result of Israeli blockade until they withdrew from the complex.

The team said 65 bodies were identified but identity of others are unknown.

The Civil Defence said the bodies were discovered in three mass graves in seven days of searching for bodies and that work is ongoing.

Also speaking, Dr. Mohammed Moghier, a medical doctor who is part of the team gave a sordid details of conditions of the bodies.

Using video evidence, he said some of the bodies were children, mothers and others.

He said some of them were wearing medical scrubs, some shot directly in the head, leg and and hands.

He said the hands of 10 bodies were tied and that there were evidence that approximately 20 bodies may have been buried alive and would need forensic examination.

He said some were patients and still had candula in their hands, while some were buried naked.

He added that some bodies were stapled together, with their organs stolen.

The Gaza Civil Defence called on the United Nations to carry out an Independent investigation into the atrocities being committed by Israel in Gaza.

The team said it is willing to participate to provide evidence of crimes against humanity committed by Israel.
