LAGOS, Nigeria – Jehovah’s Witnesses are today celebrating the memorial of Jesus’ death in obedience to his commands at Luke 22:19, “Keep Doing this in remembrance of Me”.
They are holding the memorial in their Kingdom Halls and other halls after sundown today because it corresponds to the Nissan 14 in the Jewish Calendar when Jesus Christ instituted the memorial with the 11 apostles after the passover meal which he held with the twelve disciples.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses are inviting everybody to this important event, which has the theme “ What Can His Sacrifice Mean for You?
