GAZA – The leader of the Hamas movement, Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri has said that the movement will no be able to deal with agreement that does not guarantee cessation of hostilities.
He said the movement has real opportunity to create comfort and security, and achieve the demands of the Palestinian people
“We support any draft resolution in the Security Council that calls for stopping the fighting without linking it to other conditions”, he said.
He said there must be complete withdrawal from Gaza, cessation of hostilities and return of all Palestinians forcefully taken to Israel.
“We cannot deal with any agreement that does not guarantee a complete cessation of aggression, the withdrawal of the occupation, and the return of the displaced
“The movement showed great flexibility and a positive spirit in the negotiations with the aim of stopping the aggression against our people
“We call on the free world to break its silence, and take actual action to stop the bleeding and heinous massacres in the Gaza Strip”, Hamas said.
He said there is no need to remain silent about the targeting of civilians while they are waiting for humanitarian aid and their livelihood.
“We must take action and confront the massacres committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.
“Our priority in any agreement is to protect our people and permanently stop the aggression against the Palestinian people
“America is an actual partner and primary supporter of the crimes committed by the occupation against families in the Gaza Strip”, Hamas said.
