GAZA, Palestine – Not less than 137 journalists have been killed by the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF since October 7, when it kicked off brutal war of revenge on Gaza.
According to Government Media Office in Gaza, the killing of Abdel Wahab Awni Abu Awn, a photojournalist and editor with several media outlets brings the death toll of journalists in the genocidal war to 137.
Abdel Wahab Awni Abu Awn was martyred when the Israeli occupation Forces bombed his home at the Al-Maghazi Camp in the Central Gaza Strip.
” We ask Allah Almighty for mercy, acceptance and paradise for our journalist colleagues and patience and consolation for their families and the Palestinian journalistic family”, the media office said.
