Gaza health ministry confirms killing of 21 civilians waiting for humanitarian aid

GAZA – The Gaza Health Ministry has confirmed that at least 21 civilians were killed when Israeli gunmen opened fire while they were waiting for humanitarian aids. 

The civilians, according to the ministry were waiting as trucks conveying humanitarian aids drove into Gaza at the Kuwait Roundabout.

The Ministry said the gunmen opened fire through helicopter, drone and tanks on the civilians as aids convoy entered the area.

The ministry said several others, about 150 injured were moved to the Al Shifa Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has denied complicity in the killings.

Spokesman of IDF, Daniel Hagari said the incident is being investigated adding that they have examined CCTV footage but have found no evidence linking the IDF with the attack.
