UMUAHIA, Abia – The Deputy State chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA Abia State chapter, High Chief Okeri Christian Chinyeaka has dumped the party for Labour Party LP.
Chief Okeri who was the former Chairman of Isiala Ngwa LGA, in a letter he personally signed,sent to Chairman of Isiala Ngwa LGA of the party and copied to the state chairman of APGA said he has left APGA for good.
“I, Hon Christian Okeri,the state deputy chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, Abia State chapter hereby wish to inform the party of my clear intention to withdraw my membership of the Party. This letter serves as a notice of my resignation from APGA” he stated .
However, information from a close associate said that Okeri dumped APGA for Labour Party LP in order support the new dawn in the state.
The associate said he left APGA to support Dr Alex Oti of new Abia State,which is doing wonderfully well in the state.
According to associate ,the Labour Party in the state is new dawn that needs strong support of every Abian to move the state forward.
