Gregory University Uturu announces salary increment for staff

UTURU, Abia, Nigeria – Gregory University Uturu, one of the premier private university in Nigeria known for its commitment to innovative education, has announced a substantial pay raise for its staff, effective from February 1, 2024.

In a statement issued by acting Public Relations Officer of the University Ebubechi Iwuh,the salary increment was in a move to mitigate the harsh economic realities in Nigeria.
According to the statement,the academic staff will get a 15% pay increase, while the non-academic staff will have a 20% raise.

The statement stated that the decision was made known by the Founder of the institution, Prof. Gregory Ibe recently.

According to the statement,it is a strategic step to alleviate the financial challenges faced by the staff amidst the economic climate in Nigeria.

The statement reads in full,
“Our dedicated staff is the foundation upon which our university’s success is built,”
