BENIN, Edo State, Nigeria- The 100% ‘ Homeboy’, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has allayed the fears of the good people of Edo State, by promising a new Edo, if nominated and elected Governor under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP).

Speaking with a cross section of his teeming supporters recently, Shaibu noted that Edo was going to surmount all its present challenges and be great again, if we can unite as one people, irrespective of our political creeds and affiliations, particularly as hunger has no religion or political party.

” As the 2024 gubernatorial elections in Edo draw nigh, it is time for all to walk the talk and work assiduously for equity, justice and fairness in all our dealings with one another as a people

“Let me restate that our challenges as good people of Edo state, are indeed very temporary and will be surmounted, if we are determined to rework our way of association and pursue justice and fairness in choosing who will steer the ship of our dear state via the polls in just a matter of months.

“We must never forget as we race towards another moment of our political history, that Edo is politically and cohesively defective and that we must factor the need to, as a matter of urgency, unite, close all ranks by jettisoning of forms of parochialism, with a view to making it easier for us to develop by creating healthy competition among the various political actors ,” Shaibu said.

While praying for brighter times for the state, he promised to prioritize the security of every Edolite, no matter where they live or work.

Support, nominate, and vote Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu for the actualization of the Edo of our dreams.
