… Set to restore hopes, and engender good governance, if nominated, elected
BENIN CITY, Edo, Nigeria – In the words of Barrack Hussein Obama,” I wonder, sometimes, whether men and women in fact are capable of learning from history- whether we progress from one stage to the next in an upward course or whether we just ride the cycles of boom and bust, war and peace, ascent and decline”
A cursory look at these unforgettable words of the former U.S President, further explains why we are actually where we are, but never again, as we brace up and take our destinies into our hands, by saying ” No” to a seemingly third term in disguise via another technocrat.
Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. Leadership failure becomes inevitable once politicians without political will are voted into office, which is why we are where we are today. Edo deserves an experienced leader, who actually understands the yearnings and aspirations of our people, and not a political rookie or another technocrat who is being foisted on us as a third term in disguise.
We must however take solace in being hopeful, that there was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope.
We must let our hopes, not our hurts, as good people of Edo state, to shape our future, by unanimously supporting, nominating and enthroning Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu as our next Governor, in just a matter of months.
Support, nominate, and vote the 100% ‘ Homeboy’ Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), for the actualization of the Edo of our dreams.
