AWKA, Anambra – Eleven (11) days after members of Anambra State House of Assembly paid a condolence visit to Governor Charles Soludo over the death of his father who died at the age of 93.
The lawmakers visited the Governor at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia Awka south local government Area of Anambra State.
Recall that Governor Soludo’s father died at the State’s owned hospital, Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka, Anambra State, on November 6, 2023.
Presenting condolence message to the governor on behalf of other members ,the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze expressed great sadness over the death of Pa Soludo.
He also expressed members heartfelt condolences to the Governor and his family.
Receiving the lawmakers, the Governor expressed his appreciation to the House Members for coming physically to condole him and thanked them for their support and solidarity at this difficult times.
