WARRI, Delta – Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke better known as Davido has been in the news in recent times over a botched Warri Again Concert.
Davido is alleged to have pocketed $94,600 for the concert but refused to show up for the show after tickets had been sold.
Davido as usual has refused to speak on the development. In a statement, Mr. Victor Wokocha, Project Director, Brownhill Events Inc. organisers of the Warri Again Concert said that they have briefed their legal team in respect of the matter as the team will advise on the next steps to follow.
In the statement, Wokocha described Davido’s failure to perform at the concert despite receiving full payment and logistics made available to guarantee his attendance as ‘quite unfortunate.”
