KERALA, India – Recorded video of the moments the explosions tore through the gathering of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kerala, India have surfaced on the internet.
In the video, (Watch VIDEO ) some could be heard wailing as some attempt to douse the fire on some of the chairs used during the convention.
The explosions took place 9:40am local time on the third day of the Exercise Patience Regional Convention at Zamra International Convention Centre in Kerala, India.
Director General of Police (ADGP) law and order, MR Ajith Kumar, told a news conference that a person named Dominic Martin claimed responsibility for the explosion after surrendering at a police station in the Thrissur district about 65km (40 miles) north from the site of the incident.
He is “claiming that he has done it”, saying that “he belonged to the same group of sabha”, Kumar told reporters, adding that police is “verifying” the claims.
