IKEJA, Lagos – An upcoming Nigerian musician Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin better known as Prime Boy who was declared wanted by the Nigeria Police in relation to alleged murder of fast rising musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Promise Aloba better known as Mohbad has submitted himself to the police authority in Ikeja, Lagos.
Prime Boy was invited by the Nigeria Police for interrogation following the mysterious death of Mohbad but he refused to show up and he was thus not among those arraigned by the police before the Yaba Chief Magistrate Court on Wednesday.
He was subsequent declared wanted by police with a bounty of N1 million on information that could lead to his whereabout and subsequent arrest.
“Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in”, the Police said in a statement, adding that he has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.
“The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation.
“The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice”, the Lagos State Police Command said in an update on ongoing investigation on Mohbad.
Prime Boy will now join Naira Marley, Sam Larry and others now cooling their heads for 20 days at the State Criminal Investigative Department, SCID pending trial later in October.
