GAZA, Palestine – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has provided concrete proof that the military wing of the Palestinian Liberation Movement,(PLO), Hamas fired the rocket that killed dozens at the Al Ahli Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
There has been international condemnation of Israel, following the hit at the hospital in the wake of sporadic and continuous bombardment of the Gaza Strip by the IDF which has rendered the area completely uninhabitable.
But in a statement, the IDF explained that following an additional review and cross-examination of the operational and intelligence systems, it is clear that the IDF did not strike the hospital in Gaza.
“The hospital was hit as a result of a failed rocket launched by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. The terrorist organizations within the Gaza Strip fire indiscriminately toward Israel.
“Since the beginning of the war, approximately 450 rockets launched toward Israel have fallen within Gaza, endangering and harming the lives of Gazan residents”, the IDF said.
The IDF went a step further to provide infographics on the location where rockets are fired towards Israel by Hamas with the Al Ahli hospital directly in the direction of rockets heading towards Israel, suggesting that Hamas may have hit the hospital as a result of failed rocket. This argument can also be contested by many who believe that a failed rocket should fall right and not left based on the infographic provided.
The IDF went a step further to provide a recording of conversation of the members of Hamas debating the failed rocket that hit the hospital, with many confirming its orgin.
