2 killed, dozens injured as explosions hit Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention in India

KERALA India – Not less than two people have been killed and dozens others injured when  explosions hit the convention ground of Jehovah’s Witnesses in India.

According to jw.org, the official website of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the witnesses were at their regional convention, entitled” Exercise Patience” in Kerala, India when the bombs exploded, killing two delegates and at least 55 people injured.

About 2200 people were on site in the final day of the three day Regional Convention.

The Indian Police has swung into action to unravel the mystery of the attacks.

This is the first time that terrorists are targeting the convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are apolitical. They are a peaceful religious organisation and they were teaching those in attendance the need and how to exercise patience in these difficult period.

No group has taken responsibility for the attacks.
