AWKA, Anambra – The Founder and Chairman of the IG Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation, Ichie IG Aguowo has announced full scholarship to 92 students .
The beneficiaries are drawn from secondary and tertiary institutions in the country.

The benefactor made the announcement on Monday, after the beneficiaries had sat for qualifying examinations on Saturday in Awka Anambra state capital.
The scholarship selection process (examinations) was conducted by the renowned Best Brain Contest for IG Aguowo Foundation.
The event, which was held at the Prof Kenneth Dike Library in Awka, Anambra State, had participants drawn from across the South East , the West, North, and South South regions of Nigeria.
The scholarship theme is christened “Lifetime Educational Benefit,” and it covers all the educational expenses for the beneficiaries from their current academic level to their final year in tertiary institutions .
The scholarship will in addition give each beneficiary access to free healthcare while studying . Hon Frank Igbojindu (Akpoazaa), the CEO of Best Brain Contest, commended Ichie IG Aguowo for his exceptional commitment to education of Nigeria’s students.
He praised IG Aguowo’s philanthropic gestures, which he stated is devoid of political interests. Igbojindu also described IG Aguowo as a rare gene in Nigeria , particularly in Anambra State.
“The act of offering comprehensive scholarships to more than 350 students, with full tertiary education and healthcare benefits, is a testament to Ichie IG Aguowo’s dedication to humanitarian causes” he stated
He also revealed that the capturing and documentations of the new 92 beneficiaries into the foundation’s scholarship program is scheduled to hold on September 8, 2023 at Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Center Awka.
