LAGOS, Nigeria – First Baptist Church Agbede has issued a warning to member of the church names withheld for dancing in a manner that does not glorify God, in essence for dancing in a manner that glorifies Satan.
In the letter which originated from the Choir Department, signed by Music Director, Mrs Patunola; Choir Secretary, Sis. Iyanu Ayangbola and Choir Disciplinary Committee Chairman, Mr. Olaiya Fasuhan, the committee warned the member to desist from dancing shamelessly.
“The Disciplinary Committee of the above church choir hereby writes to give you a warning as regarding your dance style during church service, most especially during praise and worship.
“The committee hereby writes to warn you that you should kindly stop this dance style that doesn’t glorify God during worship service as there would be a close watch on you to see if you are going to change before you will be asked to face the disciplinary committee if there is still no change in your dance style”, the church said.
