NEW YORK – Former President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump has said that he could convince Russia and Ukraine to settle the ongoing crisis and end the war in 24 hours.

Trump who was speaking on Fox TV said he gets along well with President Vladimir Putin and that convincing him will not be a big deal.

“As you know, I get along very well with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin. I would tell Putin you’ve got to settle. I would tell [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky you’ve got to settle.

“I would tell one you’re gonna load up with money, I’d tell the other you are not gonna get any money. I would get a settlement in 24 hours,” Donald Trump said.

Previously, Trump has repeatedly said that he would broker peace in Ukraine in 24 hours, and that there would not have been war in Ukraine if he was still president of the United States.

In previous interview, he chided President Joe Biden, warning he should not drag the US into third world war.

“He should not be dragging us further toward World War III by sending cluster munitions to Ukraine — he should be trying to END the war and stop the horrific death and destruction being caused by an incompetent administration”, he said, adding that unexploded cluster munitions “will be killing and maiming innocent Ukrainian men, women, and children for decades to come, long after the war.

On Biden’s statement that U.S is running out of ammunition in support of Ukraine hence the need to send cluster bombs, Trump said the development “certainly means we should not be sending Ukraine our last stockpiles at a time when our own arsenals, according to Crooked Joe Biden, are so perilously diminished,” Trump said.
