ENUGU – The Certificate of Discharge paraded by Enugu State Governor, Mr. Peter Mba was not issued by us, the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has told the Enugu State Election Petition Tribunal, ESEPT.
NYSC Director of Corps Certification, Ibrahim A. Muhammad made the revelation while testifying at the ESEPT after NYSC letter to the tribunal was admitted before the court.
Earlier in a letter dated February 01, 2023 tendered and admitted by the tribunal signed by Muhammad stated as follows:
“We are pleased to inform you that the Certificate of National Service belonging to Mba Peter Ndubuisi with certificate number A808297 forwarded for verification was not issued by the NYSC.
Earlier lawyers representing Peter Mba fought spiritedly to prevent the NYSC director from testifying, creating a rowdy session until they were overruled.
