BUDAPEST – The Prime Minister of Hungary, PM Viktor Orban has said that Ukraine is no longer an independent State, stressing that achieving peace in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine depends on what the United States says and not Ukraine.
“Ukraine is no longer a sovereign state, the achievement of peace depends on the United States, not on Ukraine, he was quoted as saying.
The Hungarian Prime Minister, spoke just as US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. revealed that peace has been elusive in Ukraine as a result of President Joe Biden’s interference in the war with Russia.
Robert Kenney recalled that there was an agreement between Russia and Ukraine in April last year and that Russian troops withdrew from the outskirts of Kiev.
However, the United States intervened. “And now we have killed 350,000 young people there. And I am not an apologist for Vladimir Putin. It was a brutal war. But we also need to look at our role in provocations since 1997,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Hungarian Foreign Minister, Mr. Peter Szijjarto has said that Budapest will not support integration of Ukraine into the EU until the problems with the rights of minorities in Transcarpathia is solved.
