KETU, Lagos – Police officers from the Ketu Police Division have picked up a baby well wrapped up baby at a bus park in Mile 12, in the Ketu axis of Lagos.
Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the baby was discovered by a Lagosian going to work at around 4:30am.
According to him, the worker suddenly heard the cry of a baby under a parked bus, somewhere in the Mile 12 axis.
He said the Lagos worker then alerted officers of the Ketu Division who eventually took the baby into custody.
He said investigation is currently ongoing to find out the person who abandoned the baby in the wee hours of the day.
