IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – Prophet Mathew Adetunji of the Celestial Church of Christ, Oju Ore Cathedral is furious.
He is furious to the extent that he has sworn that a fellow pastor, in the person of the Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries(Home of Success)Pastor David Ibiyeomie will die unless he apologises in 14 days over his degrading allegations against white garment churches.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie had in a viral video taunted the celestial church, describing the church as devilish in orientation, when it comes to prayers.
He actually said white garment churches have a way of using mystic powers in trapping names of individuals into bottles and chanting incantations to achieve whatever ends.
“Do you know why I hate white garment churches, people don’t know why I hate them. They can take your name and put it inside a bottle of gin and make incantations.
“That is how they do it, all these yeye prophets, they will take the name of somebody and put it inside the local gin and read all those demonic psalms in it”, he said.
However, the Celestial Church of Christ is not the only church that puts on white garment. Members of the Olumba Olumba also put on white garments.
AlthoughProphet Mathew Adetunji did not specify which of the denominations wearing white garment in his well publicized sermon, Prophet Mathew Adetunji believes the sermon is directed at membership of the Celestial Church of Christ and has given him 14 days ultimatum to recant or die,(see god) as he puts it in his rage.
The prophet who actually denied the allegations, assuming the Celestial Church of Christ is the target by innuendos however said what his warning is not mere threat.
“I am saying this to Pastor David Ibiyeomie. I am a bonafide Prophet of the Celestial Church of Christ, but what he said to us in the Celestial Church , he really made a really terrible mistake.
“As it were, as a man of god we give 14 days to him to apologize, if he does not, this is not a word of threat, he will visit our god”, he threatened.
