LAGOS, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has assured members of the party that he will explore all legal options available to restore the mandate the Nigerian people fully gave to him in the 2023 general election.
Peter Obi who was addressing labour leaders in Awka, Anambra State thanked them for their support so far during and after the election. He said that the meeting he held with Labour Party stakeholders in the state was very fruitful, animated and constructive.
“Part of our discussion centred on the way forward for the party”, he said.
“I assured them of my readiness to go all the way to explore every available legal option to ensure we get our mandate back.
“I appreciated all their support so far as I assured them of mine”, he said.
Peter Obi has immediately after the 2023 presidential election insisted that he and not Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the election and vowed to prove it to Nigerians.
He is presently at the Presidential Election Tribunal to present evidence before the court in support of his belief that he won the election.
