LAGOS, Nigeria – Even as President Muhammadu Buhari travels around Nigeria commissioning projects ahead of May 29, when he will quit the presidential villa, human right activist, Senator Shehu Sani has said that the greatest legacy of the Buhari administration is the N77 trillion debt that he is leaving behind for his successor, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Sani, who was a member of the All Progressive Congress, APC said President Buhari will also be leaving behind a Nigeria with 133 million people wallowing in poverty and 25 million people at the risk of hunger based on statistics released by the United Nations Children Fund, UNICEF.

He added that Buhari will also leave behind a legacy of 10 million out of school children, mass killings and daily kidnapping, nothing satirically, with all these glaring statistics, Buhari has delivered on his electoral promises.

The senator said commissioning projects is indeed a mark of great achievements but that grounding the economic, social and educational activities of the state for that purpose is nothing but a mark of desperation for favours, accommodation by lickspittle.

While urging President-elect, Senator Bola Tinubu to say no to all that, else it becomes the norm in the ruling APC, he alluded to statements made by Buhari in the hay days of his administration when he said he will create millions of jobs and later grandstanding that his government has indeed created millions of jobs but suddenly started singing a different tune following confounding statistics that it is no longer the responsibility of government to create jobs.

“The President is leaving behind 77trillion naira debt,133million poverty stricken people,25m people at the risk of hunger according to Unicef,10m out of school children, mass killings and kidnappings on a daily basis;yet he said he has delivered on the Change he promised.

“Commissioning a project is a mark of a great achievement.Kudos.But Grounding the economic,Social & educational activities of the state for that purpose is a mark of desperation for favours & accommodation by a lickspittle.Tinubu can say no to that or else it becomes the norm.

“In the beginning,we will create millions of http://jobs.In the middle,we have created millions of http://jobs.In the end,it’s not our responsibility to create jobs”, the senator said on the social media.
