Golfer Nick Bachem grabs first DP Tour win in Johannesburg

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – German golfer Nick Bachem celebrated his biggest success so far with his first DP World Tour victory in Johannesburg on Sunday.

The 23-year-old shot a final round 64 to win by four strokes from South Africans Zander Lombard and Hennie du Plessis on the par-72 course.

Eight birdies, four on the back nine and four heading back to the clubhouse, secured the victory on day four.

The Jonsson Workwear Open is new to the DP World Tour, previously known as the European Tour, as is Bachem himself.
