ABUJA, Nigeria – Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw was elected Public Relations Officer of Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN) at the national level.
Kate Henshaw who formerly served as Public Relations Office of AGN Lagos State chapter was elected on 9th January 2023 during a bye election by the National Executive council special meeting to fill the remaining National vacant offices.
She was elected unopposed.
In the same bye election Michael Yusuf Michael MYM defeated Rilwan Ibiefo to become the Vice President of Actors Guild of Nigeria North West zone replacing Alhaji Wash Waziri Hong who occupied the position in the last tenure.

In a statement announcing the election, National Secretary of the association, Abubakar Yakubu said Kate Henshaw will be in charge of disseminating strategic communication among Guild and non Guild members.
Actors Guild of Nigeria is the largest Actors association in the culture sector in Africa.
