LAGOS, Nigeria – The First Lady and wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari has never made much news the way she did in recent times. The bone of contention being her unusual rotund structure, which has become a source of concern for many.
Aminu Adamu Muhammad, a student of Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State had in exercise of her freedom of expression commented on the new size of the first lady, which has in a way impacted negatively on her ravishing beauty.
The First Lady, many would argue is an epitome of beauty much as you would see in many ladies of Fulani extraction.
But her robust new posture must have caught the attention of the young student who tweeted in Hausa, “su mama anchi kudin talkawa ankoshi”, translated “ had gotten fatter by eating masses’ money”.
This simple tweet was said to have infuriated our hitherto amiable lady to dispatch her security orderly to fetch the young man from his classroom routine and have him thrown into detention at the Wuse Zone II Police Station without trial since November 18th, says the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS.
While the young Aminu Adamu Muhammad languishes in detention for a simple tweet, Aisha Buhari, who has been leading the women wing of the All Progressive Congress(APC) is said to have been rushed to a hospital in Abuja after suffering from an alleged leg fracture.
Daily Nigerian had reported that the First Lady fell and suffered a leg fracture. Although, the office of the First Lady is yet to issue statement on the issue, her rotund size has been subject of debate on the social media, forcing many to wonder if her new size may ordinarily be connected to her new found affluence, her prolonged stay in Dubai, the United Arab Emirate or could there be more to it than meets the eye.
Many suspect that there could be more since she was never from a poor home. She has been in affluence before she became First lady and was not this fat, which could be where the young Aminu got it wrong.
Formerly known as Aisha Halilu, she was born February 17, 1971. She is from Adamawa State and grand daughter of Alhaji Muhammadu Ribadau, Nigeria’s first Minister of Defence. Her father is a civil engineer, while her mother is a descendant of the Ankali family, a family of renowed farmers.
Aisha Buhari has BA in public administration and an MSc in international affairs. She is also a proud holder of a Diploma in beauty therapy and Postgraduate Diploma in Cosmetology and beauty. At 51, Aisha Buhari is certainly not too old so as to allow this type of fatness takeover her moreso, when she is a beautician. What could have been responsible?
