LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood icon, Patience Ozokwo has joined the Peter Obi movement and now taking the lead in the Peter Obi grassroots mobilization exercise.
Patience Ozokwo made this public knowledge when she uploaded video of herself at a public gathering somewhere in Nigeria.
In the video she was seen standing up on the high table and leading the group in a traditional song to encourage the movement which has become a whirlwind that is taking over Nigeria.
The Peter Obi grassroots movement took the public stage on October 1, when Nigerians from all works of life throughout the federation came out to show their support for candidate of the Labour Party in the quest to bring about change in Nigeria.
Patience Ozokwo gave a hint why she is doing this at a time that her very good friends, Joke Jacobs has pitched her tent with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos State.
“May it never be said that we failed for lack of trying. Be the change you need. Let your voice count. Let your votes COUNT”, she wrote.
