IKWUANO, Abia, Nigeria – The winds of revelations are now blowing and the scenario is getting clearer by the day for all keen political observers of the political space in Abia state.
As usual the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia state, which has never hidden its proclivities to systemic and endemic corruption are at their decrepit games again in the build up to the 2023 gubernatorial elections in Abia state. How so?
Well, it is a well-known fact that since that contraption of banal souls and depraved mortals whose minds have been handed over to reprobacy conspired to go against the well known and articulated document of equity that stipulates the balance of power in Abia state, they have immorally begun funding their lackey who was given the gubernatorial ticket of a mushroom political party.
Pray tell, who was Enyinnaya Nwafor before he was drafted in by Okezie Ikpeazu and singlehandedly made the largest contractor to Abia State Government? This is a very young fellow who if he had been properly raised would have deigned it altruistic to not taste the proverbial forbidden fruit and stood to uphold justice, fairness and equity knowing fully well that ill-gotten gains do not endure rather they develop wings and relocate.
On good authority, he was a funnel for corrupt kickbacks to the present leadership in Abia state. Which projects has his company delivered to the good people of Abia state that has stood the test of time and conferred value to Ndi Abia? Rather this fellow has allowed himself to be used as a willing tool in the hands of Ikpeazu to rape, pillage and lay to ruins the commonwealth of the great people of Abia state. Everybody who is aware of the goings on in Abia state is fully aware of this. What these people are all interested is in the continuous destruction and laying to ruins of whatever remains of Abia state by the time Okezie Ikpeazu is out of office come 2023.
Despite Enyinnaya Nwafor’s antics, can he with his full chest come out in public and clarify to Abians how he received over 4 billion Naira with which he is funding his pseudo-campaigns? Has he ever voiced out his perceived opinions on the maladministration going on within Abia state since he is supposedly an opposition gubernatorial candidate?
Even the youth constituency which he presents himself as their representative, what has been his observations and comments about the PDP gubernatorial candidate of whom everyone knows is a great grandfather and on that note will not be able to withstand the rigours and exigencies of the office of governor?
Among those currently vying to become the next governor of Abia state, it is only Enyinnaya Nwafor that has continued to dole out huge sums of money without any known antecedents with which he can be qualified or rated. The young man has rather engaged in massive profligacy of the sums originally belonging to Abians with which he has been funded with.
Are those not the attributes of an impostor? But of course, Eyinnaya Nwafor is an impostor. As a result of the intense focus of Abians who are now the wiser on all the gubernatorial candidates, the younger brother of Enyinnaya Nwafor, surreptitiously exited the Okezie Ikpeazu administration to further give credence to the wool they are trying to pull over the eyes of Abians. That strategy has fallen flat on its face as they have been caught red-handed.

This strategy again has failed and all thanks to the new Electoral Act 2022 which they are too illiterate to understand the tenets enshrined therein.
In 2023, the votes of Abians will definitely count and that is why they have resorted to finetuning their plans for vote-buying of which provisions have been made to catch them in the act and finally drive the last nail into the coffin of those who have held Abia state by the neck and pillaged her common patrimony while enthroning wickedness and injustice.
