AWKA, Anambra, Nigeria – A 25-year-old  Abia genius, Mr. Solomon Uhoka,  abandoned by  the state governor Okezie Ikpeazu  has been given full scholarship.

He was given scholarship by the senior pastor of OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere when Ikpeazu failed in his promise to young man.

Solomon had constructed an electricity substation to the amazement of the world with crude oil and other locally sourced materials.

When the governor heard about the young man’s ingenuity, he invited him to Abia State with a promised to give him a scholarship to achieve his dream , unfortunately Ikpeazu  reneged on his promise.

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere   gave the young man the scholarship after  Ikpeazu had  in 2021  promised him a 5-year scholarship  and  failed.

Our reporter   gathered that the genius who constructed transformer with local materials  was found  on the street of Lagos with his mother on Saturday hawking wares .

Our investigation revealed that after he was found by Apostle Chibuzor, the Abia-born transformer developer  disclosed that the governor  abandoned  him after  he gave him high  hope of scholarship.

“The  governor  invited me to the Abia government’s lodge in April 2021 and promised to give me scholarship and I was so happy but the happiness died  when he abandoned me with all promises ” he said .

Announcing the new scholarship, Apostle Chibuzor said he has already released money for Solomon to travel down to Port Harcourt on Monday in preparation for oversea trip for studies any moment.

According to him, he will be traveling with the next set that would travel overseas to study Electrical Engineering this month of August.

“I have already instructed his documentation to commence immediately. It’s not easy to build a transformer. He is gifted. Nigerians are gifted with so many young people with talents, but it’s normally wasted. That’s why we must continue to trust in God so that our individual gifts do not waste. Glory be to GOD Alone. Fully sponsored through tithes and offerings in OPM Church.”
