Professor Gregory Ibe, the man the cap fits

“His midas touch will leap jump Abia State  to a greater height, the expected glory and honour of our dreams. Prof. Ibe is a man who has passed through all stages of lives before attaining to prominence. Hard work, purposeful engagement, love of God and humanity have always paved his path to  greatness”

AWKA , Anambra, Nigeria – As the 2023 general election draws nearer,  the people of Abia State are painstakingly  yearning and  looking for a man who will change the ugly narratives in the state.

A state so much blessed with material and human resources but held down  by political negatives and economic underdevelopment. A state christened “God’s Own State”  as adopted by the founding fathers  appears to be dominated by un-Godly leaders who are not concerned about human and economic development of the state.

A state peopled by political leaders who are only  interested in milking it to comatose – political leaders who have apportioned the state’s resources among families and friends.

They have virtually turned  the state into private enterprise , whereby  the  sitting governor with his cronies impose  whoever they wish and foist  it on the people just to keep dominating and having  free access to the state resources.

They prefer to have a puppet in office  instead of a visionary and innovative leader ; a puppet that will never say  enough is enough  even at the cost of the state –  that has been the bane  of Abia State. This has systematically contributed to  the  stagnation or the retrogression of the state’s development.

And because the kingmakers are innately deep in corruption,  they   starve  the workforces in the state to submission and cowardice . They  destroy every institution in the state including the education sector, castrating human and infrastructure  development.

They don’t want an independent, innovative and purposeful leader to emerge as governor of the state because they have no good intentions for the people .

They are always afraid of giving opportunity to people  with capacity and character to govern because they are aware that the rot and leakages in governance will be exposed.

But God in his infinite wisdom and being the owner of Abia State   has answered the people by throwing up  Prof Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe to put  smiles on the  faces of Ndi Abia,  away their tears, restore God’s own state to the glory of God.

Prof. Ibe, is a legendary Abian- Nigerian  Business Executive, an entrepreneur of astute quality, promoter of human and material development. He is coming to give the state a face lift and economic transformation.  Ibe is a moving force in educational transformation and human capital development  in Nigeria, a philanthropist and humanitarian, who has never been found wanting in any capacity.

His midas touch will leap jump Abia State  to a greater height, the expected glory and honour of our dreams. Prof. Ibe is a man who has passed through all stages of lives before attaining to prominence. Hard work, purposeful engagement, love of God and humanity have always paved his path to  greatness .

He was not born with a golden spoon. Indeed, he had a raw deal with poverty in his early life which spurred him with the determination to attain great heights today. He conquered poverty for himself and the generation of his time .

He understands  what it means to be in want because he had passed through it and  he has vowed to serve God through humanitarian services in appreciation to God’s glory in his life  .

To appreciate God for raising him  to a high level,  Ibe  established Gregory Iyke Foundation as a humanitarian medium to reach out to the poor and the helpless in society . The Foundation is in affiliation with World Medical Relief Inc. and Global Medical Relief Inc. in the United States for execution of medical aid programmes in Nigeria.

This foundation has lifted over 20,000 people across the country. People of Ibe’s pedigree and likes , do what people of God do.  They are never wanted by  the politicians in the state  because the politicians  are not happy seeing  Ndi Abia happy .

They abhor similes on the faces of the masses, whom they vowed to keep perpetually   saddened by their actions and because they are not  happy seeing smiles on faces of the masses, they refused to pay workers in the state, destroyed  the educational institution and health care system with their children attending schools and receiving medical care abroad .

Abia remain the most backward state in the country despite being an oil producing  state. Prof. Ibe, by his record is better equipped and  prepared to leverage on his “extensive knowledge of political power dynamics, vast background in the world of corporate business, diplomatic skills acquired while consulting with international bodies and relevant experience garnered from being the largest private investor in Abia State.

Ndi Abia should consider him  sufficiently prepared by God to be Governor of Abia in order to reclaim its christened name “Gods own state” come 2023. Ndi Abia are   tired of the effects of godfatherism on the polity of the state and this is the time to vote for integrity , purposefulness ,service to God and humanity which Prof Ibe represents .

Time has gone when one man will stay in office and write the result and say go to court. Our dear state is in dire need of the change they can trust and believe in.  We  are tired of same  corrupt politicians, godfatherism and revenue leakages, multiple taxation, infrastructural decay and total negligence of our youths ,women and work force.

Prof. Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe  is a man whose time has come to lead to the promised land, therefore let  all of us support him, wholeheartedly.
