LAGOS, Nigeria – These are not the best of days for Nollywood superstar, Chacha Eke Faani. This paragon, who has featured in dozens of films has decided to let go of her marriage after pretending to be having marital bliss for years.
And for living a lie in the past, she is appologising to Nigerians for denying speculations in the social media that her marital life has been in shambles.
“I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years. True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise””, she confessed.
Chacha Eke Faani went a step further to declare that for the second time in two years, she is forced to declare that she is done with her marriage to Austin Faani and that the development is no news to Austin Faani, medical doctors and her parents.
“For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents”, she said, stressing that she neither wants to die nor go inexplicably missing.
Besides, the Nollywood superstar said that if for anything, she ends up incommunicado, her testimonies, including video recordings are with the welfare department and in the media.
Her full statements:
“Many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow.
I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing”.
I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years. True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise”.
For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents.
If push comes to shove & suddenly i am incommunicado; my lawyers, the welfare department and the Nigerian police force have my testimonials in recorded video clips/statements set for public release on all social media apps and national newspapers”.
