NAIROBI, Kenya – Mrs. Bernice Eriemeghe Ashibuogwu, General Manager, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organization, has just arrived Nairobi Kenya where she will be a key participant in the Master Class program for Chief Executive Officers of CMOs on Collective Management of Copyright and Related Rights.
The week-long program which brings together CEOs of the major copyright collective management organizations in Africa is being sponsored by the Norwegian Copyright Development Association (NORCODE).
The Master-Class which is being facilitated by the Finish-born Tarja Koskinen Olson, one of the most respected experts in the world of copyright will also have such key participants as Jotam Matariro, CEO of CAPPASO in South Africa; Ruth Simujangombe, CEO of ZARRSO in Zambia; Jane Nambasa, CEO of UFM in Uganda; Dr. Mbugua Njoroge, CEO of KAMP in Kenya, etc.
Mrs. Bernice Eriemeghe Ashibuogwu, a graduate of Accounting with an MBA belongs to several professional bodies amongst which are the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria (MILRM).
The widely travelled COSON CEO who is a passionate Rotarian and who speaks fluent French, has had significant international work experience especially in France. For several years, she was Head of Finance & Administration at COSON.
