LAGOS, Nigeria – Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide extend invitation to everyone to attend the memorial of Jesus’ death coming up on Friday, April 15, 2022.
This year, the event will not be held on Zoom but in the Kingdom Halls of Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide. Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide resumed in-person meetings at the Kingdom Hall Worldwide with effect from April 1, 2022 with provision for those having flu and cold to tie in via video conferencing.
Once each year, Jehovah Witnesses commemorate the death of Jesus Christ just as he commanded when he said at Luke 22: 19: “ Keep doing this in remembrance of me”.Two emblems will be used during the memorial, the bread and wine. The memorial will hold after Sundown.
You are all invited to witness the occasion which is the only event Jesus commanded his followers to celebrate.
Among the questions to be answered is Why did Jesus die? “ You have heard that he died for our sins. But could one man’s sacrifice really benefit millions of people? Come and find out.
You can attend at a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses near you or at Nos. 12 Lanre Odubote Street, Okeagbe Estate or at Voera Estate, Arepo directly adjacent Nos. 41 where the Kingdom Hall is located. The event begins at 6: 45pm.
