LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 312, 334,944 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 501, 368 patients are no more, while 9, 473, 725, 364 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 62, 038, 183 total cases of infections, while 841,206 patients have passed on(1,047, 517 new and 2420 deaths#) , followed by India, which has reported 35,875, 790 total infection, while 484,213 patients could not make it alive(168, 063 new and 277 deaths#) and Brazil now reporting 22,563,104 all time cases, while 620, 366 patients have passed on(33, 921 new and 115 deaths#).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 14,825,800 total cases of the pandemic, while 151,091 patients could not make it alive(119, 400 new and 379 deaths#), followed by France, which has documented 12, 680, 780 all time cases while 127,048 lives have perished(368, 538 new and 340 deaths#) and Russia, which has registered 10, 503, 101 all time infections while 311,281 patients could not make it alive(17, 396 new and 768 deaths#).
Turkey is still the 7th country most hit, reporting 10, 045, 658 total confirmations and 83, 843 deaths(65, 236 new 141 deaths#), followed by Italy which has registered 7, 774, 863 total cases of infections, while 139, 559 others could not make it alive (238, 377 new and 299 deaths#) and Germany with 7, 631, 453 total infections, while 114, 522 other patients have perished(61, 133 new and 395 deaths#).
Spain remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 7, 592, 242 all time cases, while 90,383 lives have been killed by the pandemic(134, 942 new and 247 deaths#) and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa, reporting 3, 534, 131 total cases, while 92,649 patients have passed on(5668 new and 119 deaths#).
