LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 265,741, 127 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 255, 067 patients have passed on, while 8, 171,857, 915 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 49,074,447 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 788,311 patients have passed on(47, 881 new and 379 deaths#), followed by India, with 34, 633,255 confirmations, while 473,326 patients could not make it alive(8895 new and 2796 deaths#) and Brazil, which has documented 22, 138, 247 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 615, 570 patients are now dead(8838 new and 170 deaths#).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, now reporting 10, 523, 251 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic and 146, 055 deaths(43, 393 new and 54 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has reported 9, 630, 296 total cases of infections, while 275, 824 patients could not survive the pandemic(32, 013 new and 1176 deaths#) and Turkey, which has reported 8, 903, 087 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 77, 830 patients are no more alive(19, 357 new and 185 deaths#) .
