LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 141 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 213, 818.
But out of the 213, 818 confirmed cases, 207, 016 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 974 others could not make it alive.
“NCDC: 141 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos – 46, Benue – 44, FCT – 15, Katsina -12, Bauchi – 9, Kano-4, Delta – 3, Enugu -2, Kwara -2, Rivers- 2, Gombe -1, Plateau -1; 213, 818 confirmed; 207, 016 discharged; 2, 974 deaths”, the NCDC has announced
There are now 259, 185,236 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 171,809 patients are no more, while 7, 484,208, 945 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for systems science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 48, 018, 473 all time cases, while 774,416 patients are no more(80, 204 new and 1395 deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 34,535,763 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 466,584 other patients could not make it alive(9283 new and 437 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 22,030,182 all time cases, while 613,066 patients could not make it alive(10, 212 new and 284 deaths#) .
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 10, 028, 639 all time cases, while 144,728 patients have kicked the bucket(43, 246 new and 149 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has reported 9, 270, 885 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 262,733 others patients have perished(32, 555 new and 1207 deaths#) and Turkey, now reporting 8, 626,550 all time cases, while 75, 443 patients have passed on(28, 170 new and 208 deaths#).
France is the 7th country most hit, with 7, 553,551 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 119,605 patients have passed on(44 new ) , followed by Iran, which has reported 6, 092,822 all time cases, while 129,280 patients are no more(4813 new and 103 deaths#) and Argentina, which has reported 5, 317,633 confirmations, while 116,415 patients could not survive the Coronavirus pandemic(1644 new and 33 deaths#).
Spain remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 5, 103,315 all time infections and 87, 866 deaths and South Africa which remains the most afflicted country in Africa.
South Africa has reported 2, 948,760 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 89, 635 others could not make it alive(18, 586 new 51 deaths#).
