LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 65 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, brining all time cases to 212, 894. But out of the 212, 894 confirmed cases, 204, 675 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 922 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria 5297 active cases, while 8 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 251,257,948 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 070,151 patients have passed on while 7,344,750,149 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 46,737,197 all time cases, while 758,201 patients have perished(75, 954 new and 1627 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 34, 388, 579 all time cases, while 461,849 patients have perished(11, 466 new and 460 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 21, 897, 025 total cases, while 609, 756 patients have died(10, 948 new and 183 deaths#).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 9, 451,717 all time cases and 142,772 deaths(39, 625 new and 216 deaths#), followed by Russia with 8, 764,713 all time cases while 245,794 other patients could not make it alive(36, 896 new and 1321 deaths#) and Turkey with 8, 317,394 total cases, while 72,713 patients have given up the ghost(55, 921 new and 399 deaths#).
France remains the 7th country most hit by the virus, reporting 7, 346, 277 all time cases, while 119,003 patients could not make it alive(11, 945 new and 33 deaths#) , followed by Iran with 6,012,408 all time infections, while 127,686 patients are no more(7948 new and 135 deaths#) and Argentina which has registered 5, 299, 418 all time cases, while 116,165 patients could not make it alive(1349 new and 22 deaths#).
Spain has come up as the 10th country most hit, reporting 5, 038, 517 all time cases and 87, 617 deaths(6461 new and 59 deaths#) and South Africa, which had registered 2, 924,317 all time cases, while 89,387 others patients are no more alive.
