LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 129 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 213, 076.
But out of the 213, 076 total cases, 205, 483 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 949 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 4644 active cases of Coronavirus, while 16 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 252,340,354 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 085,702 patients have passed on while 7, 411, 244,554 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide, based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 46,931,055 all time cases of Coronavirus, while 760, 970 patients have passed on(98, 928 new and 1425 deaths), followed by India, which has documented 34, 414, 186 all time cases, while 462,690 others are no more alive(12, 516 new and 501 deaths#) and Brazil, which has documented 21,924, 598 confirmed cases, while 610,224 other patients could not make it alive(15, 300 new and 188 deaths#) .
The United Kingdom is the 4th country most hit, reporting 9,534,306 all time cases, while 143,116 lives have perished (39, 213 new and 150 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has reported 8, 843, 238 total Coronavirus infections, while 248,203 patients have passed on(38, 941 new and 1203 deaths#) and Turkey with 8, 342, 292 all time cases, while 72,910 patients have passed on(24, 898 new and 197 deaths#) .
France has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 7, 362,807 all time cases, while 119,069 other patients could not make it alive(3887 new and 48 deaths#) , followed by Iran, which has documented 6, 027, 269 confirmations, while 127, 918 patients have given up the ghost(7322 new and 109 deaths#) and Argentina which has reported 5, 302,445 total cases, while 116, 209 patients have been killed by the pandemic(1460 new and 25 deaths#) .
Spain continues as the 10th country most afflicted with 5, 047, 156 all time cases, while 87, 673 patients have passed on(8639 new and 56 deaths#) and South Africa with 2, 924,978 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 89, 452 patients could not make it alive(356 new and 17 deaths#).
